University of Kashmir postpones exams scheduled for February 21
Srinagar, Feb 20 (KSA): The University of Kashmir has postponed all examinations scheduled for February 21 due to inclement weather conditions.
The decision was taken after the Kashmir Valley received fresh snowfall on Monday.
“It is notified for the information of all concerned candidates that due to inclement weather conditions, all examinations of University of Kashmir which are scheduled to be held on 21st of February 2024 stand postponed,” the university said in a notification.
Fresh dates for the postponed examinations will be issued soon.
Due to the prevailing weather situation, all the examinations of the University of Kashmir scheduled for today, February 19th and 20th, 2024, have been postponed.
The University has not yet announced the new dates for the postponed exams. However, they have assured students that the fresh dates will‘ be communicated separately.
Students are advised to keep checking the University website and official social media channels for updates on the rescheduled exam dates
This is the second time in a week that the University of Kashmir has been forced to postpone exams due to bad weather. On February 19, all exams scheduled for that day and February 20 were postponed due to snowfall.
The Kashmir Valley has been experiencing a harsh winter this year, with heavy snowfall and rainfall disrupting normal life.
