NSP Registration 2023-24 Process
Step 1: Searching for the InstituteTo initiate the registration process, visit the National Scholarship Portal at scholarships.gov.in. Click on the ‘Search for Institute’ button, fill in the required details, and obtain the institution list. If your institution is not registered, you can request them to register on the portal.
Step 2: Register with National Scholarship Portal (NSP)
For first-time applicants, follow these steps:
Visit the Home Page of the National Scholarship Portal.
Read the guidelines carefully and click ‘Continue.’
Fill in all required details and click ‘Register.’
Receive a student application ID and password on your registered mobile number.
Step 3: Logging in with National Scholarship Portal
Click on the login button to start the scholarship application.
Step 4: Change the password (A mandatory step)
Upon successful login, verify the OTP received on your mobile and change the password. Continue to enter the Dashboard of NSP.
Step 5: Enter the Dashboard of NSPNavigate to the Applicant’s Dashboard Page, click on ‘Application Form,’ and fill in all registration, academic, and basic details. Save as Draft to confirm information, then click ‘Final Submit.’
Required Documents for NSP Registration 2024
Before starting the NSP Registration process, ensure you have the following documents ready:
Educational documents
Aadhaar (mandatory for applicants above 18)
Bonafide student certificate (if institution is in a different state)
Instructions for Filling the Online Application
Form (Mandatory Fields)
Date of Birth: Provide as per educational certificates.
State of Domicile: Your permanent address.
Bonafide Certificate: If domicile state differs from institution’s state.
Scholarship Category: Select based on your class/course.
Name of Student: As printed on educational certificates.
After completing the application, remember:
You’ll receive default login details on your mobile.
Use “Annual Family Income” as per the Income Certificate.
