JKBOSE Class 11th Important Notification (Session 2023-24)
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education, Union Territory of J&K, has issued a circular regarding the updation of subject/s, photograph, and signature of candidates in Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) for the current academic session 2023-24. This follows a previous circular dated 26th December, 2023, with the latest notification extending the deadline for submission.
The circular, numbered F(JSE/upd/sbjs/KD)B/KD/23, dated 26th December, 2023, had initially set the deadline for the submission of cases for updation from an unspecified start date to 26th January, 2024. However, in the latest notification, the board has decided to extend this deadline from 24th January, 2024, to 31st January, 2024.
Importantly, the extension comes with a financial implication for candidates. The board has specified a fine of Rs 500/- per candidate (Rupees Five Hundred) only for submissions made during this extended period.
